I'm a California citizen and would probably not give it up. However, I'm expanding my education and have given some thought to leaving for one year to live in Vermont. I can attend pretty much any school, but am leaning more towards a community college while I work. Any suggestions as to where I should look? I'm thinking about Rutland since Vermont Technical College is there. Your input/opinion would be apprciated.
Duncan, are you going back to shool to get your RN? Good luck! I've never been to Vermont, but it sure looks like a pretty place!
I have some friends that go to VTC and they like it. Vermont is amazing though, everyone is really friendly and environmentally aware
Route 100,Stamford to Newport. With only three stoplights over its 200 miles within the beauty of the Green Mountain National Forest. Plymouth and Stowe provide pleasant accommodations.
Burlington is hippie central alright. That's why I love it! Rutland if liberal too, but not as much as Middlebury. But hey, Rutland is a bigger city so there is a little but of everything. They have a lot of cool religious tribes in Rutland that have one of the best restuarants in the world downtown (Back Home Again Cafe). It's truely amazing.
