Even if he was elected, it's not like he'd be the one in control. He'd be a puppet just like Bush, only a better, more intelligent and convincing puppet to restore the public's faith in the sham called "democracy." The Elite love Obama because of his image, and that's why he's being groomed to run for office in '08. I have a feeling the '08 Democratic ticket will be Obama/Clinton.

i have a bad attitude about this bamma dude i feel hes being shoved down everyones throut , and cause hes a different color than bush san and he can talk [unlike bush san ] that the banks n corporations orders will be accepted if projected through him ...lets face it , you dont get to be prez unless your a virtual robot and giong to do your masters bidding ....and if you digress from that plan then your either killed or retire in disgrace .
The push by the press and current politics to make him seem like a viable candidate seems to me like it's a manufactured distraction. He's being used like Colin Powell was used.
Obama seems to be too perfect for his own good, just what the Democrats need and comming out of nowwhere. Whoever found him sure was a smart chap. Is Obama going to change anything? Nahhh...
He didn't "Come out of nowhere." He has been in Illinois for years. Anyone from around here knows who he is, and has good faith in him. He's better than the rest of the pack. By far. Now, whether someone of color could get votes South of the Mason Dixon Line remains to be seen. I bet, if he gets the ticket, he'll win Illinois and Cali and other Blue states.
Every presidential candidate has been "somewhere", but no one has heard of his in national politics. The Obama/ Clinton ticket will get all the hardcore Democrats and probebly a lot of independents who vote Democrat/ Republican... but it will also loose all the Southern Democrats... As a friend's dad, who's a Democrat in Arkansas told me: "There ain't no chance I'm voting for a chick or a ******!"
i really like him. he's a human being, and presents himself as one... and he's genuinely intelligent, genuinely... genuine . i have all the hope in the world. a lot of people are going to be 18 in 08 (i am ).
