light is now about a yard away, it was around 2.5+- feet... pH is neutral... i check the soils moisture every 8-12 hours before deciding to water... I usually don't let the soil get too dry before watering again. Growroom temps seem fairly normal... Like I said, it was 2.5+- away, and it did get warm (back of your hand test), so I raised the light using my grow-yoyos... That was a preemptive to posting on this forum... I did it anticipating that the light burning the plants was the issue... I've always been used to growing with fluorescent lights and systems like the Phototron, using HPS systems take a little bit of learning as I can see... Fluorescent systems don't produce even and eighth of the heat that HPS systems do. I'm almost sure that this is the problem (as i've exhausted all other options)... Any opinions are appreciated...
What are the temps? Looks like heat stress (especially considering you said it's only happening to the top leaves. Buy an aircooled hood or find some other way to get the temps down if it's too hot. Maybe you could blow that fan on the light instead of the plants for a little bit. As long as there is moving air they should be fine for now. picture of heat stress: http://www.icmag.com/gallery/data/500/1134heat-stress-RD1.jpg
