Hey there guys!! gals I wanna know if there are any ppl that know of any uncommon unique boy girl names I'm not expecting soon but i just like to look and get the meaning of boy girl names.. I have to have a Planned pregnancy Thanks so much PG
Take my & my sibling's names. There a bit unique. Mine is Adria with a Z in front. My Brother's name is Navan & sisters name is Roma. I also have a younger sister who has passed on named Evora. We were all named after places.
Oh yes, loads. I'm not expecting kids any time soon either, but have been facinated by names for years. Those I have picked out tend to have little stories behind them (I was always disappointed that my parents only chose names that sounded good), the middle names are chosen to honour people so they tend to be a bit more common. So what do you have in mind? Any particular culture you're drawn to? (heritage wise or whatever) people you wish to honour? do you have any particular style of names that you're drawn to (e.g surnames, nature names, 'old fashioned')? etc My favourite general resources http://www.behindthename.com/ http://www.babynamesofireland.com/ http://home.comcast.net/~tantara29/Onomastic_Links.html http://tools.oxygen.com/babynamer/ Hope that helps
My son's name is very unique, as far as I know he is the only Mavi around. It means the color blue in Turkish. His full name is Mavi River My daughter's name is Ayla (pronounced I-la). It is actually a popular name in Turkish, so my hubby didn't want to use it. But I fell in love with the name early in my pregnancy and he couldn't come up with anything that I loved near as much, so she became Ayla Rain.
I like these girl names: Rihanna, Skyla, Skylee, Hanna, Paige, Lucy Sky Boy names that I like: Zennen, Zeke, Griffen, Zack, Preston
IMO I love when parents have significant meanings behind their children's names. I hate when they go by what is trendy. The job I have now I work with kids elementary school age. Many of them have the same name because it is what is popular right now. Name such as Madison & Jaden (spelled in a variety of ways) Madyson, Madisen, Jaydon, Jaeden, Jaidyn. It's hard to keep up with who spells their name what way! LOL
for a girl i am thinking Azilyn Nevaehor Quinlin ?? i have no clue for a boy yet .. Thanks a lot Sage i was looking at french or spanish i'm french canadian but i think looking at different culturals is so neat.
I've always LOVED the name Casper, but DH really didn't like it (partly because he is hispanic, dark-skinned, and didn't want a potentially dark-skinned child named after a ghost). We decided to name him Gabriel and give him his father's middle name. I also liked Gabrielus, the latin version. It means messenger in hebrew, but is also associated with death, revelation, the element of water, and the color blue. Maybe that's why, despite all odds, he was born with blue eyes! If we ever have a girl her name will be Marcela.
my sons name is Aydin Lennon Sky, i wanted to name him Eli or Winter though but his father didn't like it. If he was a girl he was gong to be Esila Joplin Star. Rioght now i'm startin to jumble around with some new names for a new baby. and i'm thinkin Enri, its how the french pronounce Henry. I'm also thinkin Gavin. Boys names are a little harder, because ur always afraid their not masculine enough. Best wishes
