Has anyone used knotty boy gel? My loctician swears by it, instead of wax. I've heard it makes the dreads feel crispy, but it's meant to strengthen the hair too. Any thoughts?

Here's the thing about Knotty Boy and DreaheadHQ: They work, but they can have negative consequences. The simple matter of fact is that you don't need them! Locking your hair is a natural and free process.

While I am friends with a couple of the guys at DHHQ, and I respect their choices, they are still capitalizing and commoditizing yet another of the few remaining joys of life that remain truly free and natural!

    Ah, I'm just a hippy... I'll stop....
