My Utopian Angel

I've seen the beaches and the seas​

I've climbed the mountains and stood under trees​

But these can't compare with how I feel by your side​

Being with you is my eden, I must confide​

There's no place that can be half as great​

unless you are with me to appreciate​

we can swim so deep or climb so high​

it doesn't matter as long as its you and I​

Maybe you don't know or you can't tell​

But this is all true because you're my utopian angel.​

 

You own the key to my soul​

A key I don't have​

Inside you take a stroll​

Opening doors at your will​

Do you take responsibility for what will happen​

If you open a door and cause me thrill​

You turn corners I didn't know were there​

Calmly walking through the halls of my soul​

You open doors of which I was unaware​

Tell me what you see when you peek inside​

That door has never been opened before​

While you browse I'll stand and abide​

You can open all the doors​

Maybe you can find the one that turns the tide​

You have this key because you thrill my soul​

You light it on fire​

Without you it's just a black hole​

So won't you please stay​

I couldn't bear it if yoiu left​

Unless you're here it could never remain this way​

 

They say there's plenty of fish in the sea​

So I stick my head underwater and I can see them all​

But I know they aren't for me​

Until I spot one, its match I can't recall​

She's rare and tropical with colors and stripes​

She swims the sea with a stylish strut​

Next to her there's only dull and dreary types​

I know now the rest will not make the cut​

At the depth she swims the sea is so dark​

Nothng can be seen, its grievously grim​

But she has an aura that lights the sea with a spark​

By her side, I know I must swim​

So I put on my mask and gather my gear​

I slip on my fins as I prepare​

I dive down deep trying to limit my fear​

I know if I follow the glow she will be there​

She never swims alone and can't be caught​

She glides through the sea with the greatest of ease​

To garner her attention will be hard fought​

There's not one like her in all the seas​

She can't be had with a net or a hook​

I must swim by her side but it's tough to keep pace​

I decide to quit and take one last look​

But I'm enthralled by the smile on her face​

Her laugh fills me with delight​

Her eyes light up the sea​

I can't quit now, I must persevere in this fight​

Maybe one day she will notice me​

Am I crazy to fall in love with a fish?​

Maybe, but it'd be amazing to get just one kiss​

I've looked and I've seen the many fish of the sea​

But alas, I know there's only one for me​

 

These three were inspired by a girl I've been fawning over for sometime. I'm considering giving them to her but i want them to be perfect so any constructive criticism would be appreciated thanks
