I tried using Chalk Pastels...

    Here's what I managed to draw, a long-haired chihuahua. Eh, I've never really used them before so hmmm. Tell me what you think (it's meant to be perking up it's ear by the way). =3

    hm..yeah it's rather good for someone who has never used the material.
    Please keep in mind you'd better fixate your drawing. Otherwise, your doggy might turn into a black cloud..haha
    You can use ordinary hairspray for this. Don't foget to shake the can before you spray and keep a distance of at least 25 cm's (sorry, metric system...)
    and spray it on equally. Rember you shouldn't have a cigarette in your mouth while doing so. There's this fellow artist i know who looks like Freddy Krueger by doing the exact same opposit.

    wonderful job using the chalk pastels for the first time!!!! what a cute portrait!

    i stick to colored pencils and i can still manage to smudge those too!!! but thanks for the tip, masterD, on how to keep it nice in case i actually can chalk something that i want to keep!
