So yesterday I was sitting in class listening to some presentation during second hour. When all the sudden the Deputy comes to the door of my class room and knocks on the door. He had two guys with him and they asked the teacher for me. Right when I got outside the door they handcuffed me and said they had a warrant for my arrest. So I spent the day in jail, had to go to court. Got out on a $10,000 personal bond and now have to go to court on tuesday for an Assault and Battery, Delivery and Manufacturing of marijuana/mushrooms. wow some gay shit
Hey, at least 10,000 aint that much. I had to get out on 30,000 in Myrtle Beach, SC and I had no one to help pay! But that still sucks, because your going to need a good lawyer. I say, well I dont know the entire situation, but I dropped 10,000 up front on my lawyer (COMPLETLEY different charges, btw, un-drug related) and it is now looking like we may be settling out with NO CHARGES against me. You usually get what you pay for, so go for the gold. Unless you have no money saved up, and your parents arent willing to help. I had to ask my mom for help on the lawyer fee, I am flat broke, but she helped only because I was facing charges with a minimum of 15 years, AKA reckless homicide
AKA, hit and run. But the fact is that on the insurance report, as well as the police report, it claims that the person who ran face first into my 60mph traveling vehicle was at fault for the accident, not me.
For gay shit, it sounds rather serious. I'm not a lawyer and probably don't know much about the legal system as it really operates, so take this post for what its worth, the Assault and Battery could be misdemeanor charges. The Delivery/Manufacturing charges I'd be more concerned with. If you're found guilty of these charges, the sentencing could be more severe if there any previous convictions. Good Luck...
Drop big money on a lawyer, like Relayer said go for the gold because you do get what you pay for. I had a drug related incident about a year and a half ago that I dropped $10,000 on a lawyer... I was clearly guilty and I currently have no criminal record.
