Im a senior in high school now (i know im young). Last year I did really bad in school, and had to go to summer school. I have been thinking a lot latley and I want to go to college and live in co- ed dorms. If I do good this year do I still have a chance? Does any one know a college in New England that I could attend?
The Amaral Truck Driving School in New Bedford accepts students with sketchy GPAs. ___________________
I was being serious. I grew up in Fall River, and many of the summer school kids attended Amaral Truck Driving School. One of my slower classmates attained her Ph.D. at Amaral and is now a professor at the school, in the Department of Tire Changing. __________________
New England College in Henika New Hampshire is probably an option. Also, Johnson State College in Johnson, Vermont. There are a number of schools that accept students with low gpa's. Do a search for Peterson's guide on line, they list every school in the country and the requirements to get in. Recognize that the requirements are guidelines, not something that is set in stone. Often times your interview and actual application with essay counts more at certain schools. good luck
Framingham State College - i have a friend that goes there, its liberal arts school. its pretty good. Bridgewater State College - i know a few people there, they like it. and is pretty good. Fitchburg State, Mass College of Liberal Arts, Springfield... what else can you bring to the table since you already stated that you had a crappy year? If you do improve this year, they might see that you are quality student. Do you play sports, outside-school activities? Instrument? what jobs have you had? If you have any questions, ask and i try to answer. i messed my gpa up sophomore and junior year, had to bust my ass to bring it up senior year. good luck though.
