I think it is one of the top five American Novels of all time....and who could ever forget Nurse Duckett
I love your username, I told my bf we'd name our child yossarian lol I can't belive I forgot how I used to love this book, and I only read it a few months ago...I think I read too much because this book def shouldn't have been forgotten by me >_<
I'm a pretty big advocate of this book. It took me a while to really push through it, it was so sporadic, but so wonderfully written. One of my favorite books ever.
An amazing read! At the beginning, I found it tough going but as I progressed, I became more and more addicted to the thought processes and fucked logic of it all. I will read this book again and again. I haven't found another book that made me laugh out loud so frequently. Peace, Aidan
I read Catch 22 about a week before I was drafted into the army back in '67. The damn thing had me in trouble constantly because I couldn't take any of it seriously. And the mind boggling, inept stupidity of army logic was absolutely dead on target. Man, did we exploit that for all it was worth.
