We judge others based on our own personal likes and dislikes. If this person fits our wants or how we think that they should be, we like them, though if they dont, we find that we can get annoyed quite easily by them. But we bring that, to them. This person is annoying. . this person is cool. . and the rest we're indifferent to. Its time to stop centering others around ourself, and just let them be who they are. We love our family and friends, whether or not they fit our own attitude, well its time to extend that love to not only aquantinces, not only to strangers, but to everyone. Then the world will know peace. They are all our brothers and sisters, and possess so much beauty in their uniqueness and character whether or not we choose to recognize it or not. When we put our personal judgements aside and stop projecting them onto others can we finally see the beauty in all of our differences. "Look up at me and you will see a god; look down at me and you will see a fool; look straight at me and you will see yourself"
read it closely....you'll get it we are all egocentric...as soon as we realize this, then can we accept everyone for who the are, annoyances and all. you said the magic word.....projection
That's true. But even insecure people project themselves. Everyone does, its the nature of human perception. We SEE the world in a certain way and define it based on our attitude. The world follows suit with our attitudes because we often cannot distinguish.
