What is your perfect first date? Where and what would you want to do or go? How would you want to be treated by the opposite? It took me awhile to come up with an answer.
First dates should be opportunities for two people to get better acquainted. I'm thinking a meeting for coffee or a small meal then a quiet walk and talk. It's a chance to find out some common interests and a chance to plan out a second date if there's some chemistry.
Yeah, going for a coffee always works. It doesn't have to be anything special necessarily, it's the connection that you may or may not have with that person that makes it special. Though if someone took me ice skating on a first date, I'd be pretty happy.
Something non expensive, fun, and gives you chances to talk. Movies are horrible first dates, unless you purposefully go to a movie thats terrible, walk out with her, demand your money back, give it to orphans, and spend the rest of the evening at a library or somewhere secluded just chatting. That'd be my method. First dates are about leaving impressions.
coffee or something fun like snorkeling just to break the ice. I don't like formal first dates because very rearley after a first date do I want a second one so it's a shame for a guy to put tons of effort or money into it.
I vote for coffee or drinks. Preferably in a place with decent service because crappy service makes me pretty cranky. Followed by a walk, weather allowing (ie not raining 'less you have an umbrella; and above -10C) Something with ample room for discussion/talk, as opposed to something where you just sit and stare (ie movies) or where you get to discover how clumsy, uncoordinated and nonathletic I am (ie snorkeling or ice skating or other sporty things)
Perfect first date? Merely an introduction followed by sex. After all, first impressions are everything. If the sex isn't satisfying for both, it manifests into other problems throughout the relationship, so best to figure that out from the start. If the sex is good, get acquainted on a second date.
ive already been on my perfect date! he took me to a chocolate cafe and we ate chocolate and had chocolate drinks. i just thought it was really sweet that he'd noticed i love chocie and especially since he doesnt even like chocolate.
i don't do well over coffee. i get really wigged out and get a stomach ache. i prefer a lounge of some sort where you can get a beer, but it isn't a hyper-noisy meat market. but odds are pretty good i know them pretty well by the first date, since i'm paranoid of going out with strangers. so the "first date" is really just getting comfortable before having sex. though now it's more complicated, since i'm married.
ummmmm barefoot. lodi lake. feeding the ducks, swimming in the filthy water, drinking beer. then sex in a place where we could very easily be caught
