i just recently picked up The Best of The Talking Heads, and i'm so impressed by them. when i first heard the cd in the car while driving to San Diego i was really dissapointed. but then once i got it home and listened to it on my good stereo [my moms car's sucks] i was hooked, i love it. i dont think you can really judge until you sit down and listen how great they are. my favorite songs right now are psycho killer, their cover of al green's take me to the river, blind, and found a job. ah, so great. anyone else love them?
Absolutely! We even do "And she was" in a cover band! It always takes 'em by surprise like "oooh yeaaaah, I remember that!" ~7
I never get bored of them. David Byrne should be on anyone's Top Five list of best american song writers.
