So I wasn't sure where else to post this, but tomorow is my first trip to the gyno, and i going to get put on birth control, what can i expect? is it embarrasing? I can't imagine it being that bad, since they look at it every day, but still...oh, and whats a good birth control prescription, i know they all make you gain weight, but are some worse than others?
They don't all make you gain weight. I actually loose weight no the BC i am on now. BC should be talked about with your dr. so that you can get something that works for you. It's not a bad experience it is a little uncomfortable physically. Make sure the DR. knows that it's your first exam.
thanks : ) I'm not too worried, my mom has always told me "It's like a dermatologist looking at skin, tehy see it everyday" so that makes me feel better, i just really dont want to gain weight from BC because i gain weight sooooo extremly easy and DONT lose it easy
I am the same way. I gain weight easy too. Explain your concerns with your DR. and they can help you.
Don't take the Provera for birth control. That's what I'm on and it's shit....I'm gaining weight, it's bad for bone growth, and....my sex drive has dropped. The pill made me lose weight and have awesome skin. Don't be embarrased by the gyno, he/she's seen tons of nedens, yours is no different. It does hurt a bit, though. That thing they put in you....I forget what it's called. But, all in all, it's not so bad.
