Are you going to watch the Olympics?

I watch it every single day to support Italy. Forza Azzurri!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

We should have won the olympic gold in basketball, and we ended up in 11th place. So we still have volleyball and waterpolo. YUGOSLAVIA!!!

 

Oh...I remember the basketball match Italy - Serbia and Montenegro...we lost for two points only!

 

That's the only match we won. So **** it.

 

I am just very curious..I wanna ask one question:What you think is going to win gold medal in Basketbal?

 

Spain of course, we're gonna blast the yankees on thursday. We won the five matches in the previous, we're on fitand playing very good basketball.

Pffff, you'll see as I have to eat my words on thursday, nobody knows with the USA, it's always the same, they begin the competition in a low level, but they can play their best basketball at any moment, so we'll see.

 

Oh I really wish you good luck, cause I want that Spain won against the USA, of course if your team won't defeat us in this Olmpics....
But we won, and I can say it's not very easy, but not very hard, so if Spain is number one in group A, it can be that you'll win against USA

 

I love love love watching the Olympics BUT being from the US - the whole experience sucks!!!! If an American is not competing, they won't show it! I also find it crappy that if an American wins gold, they show the medal/national anthem ceremony, but if another country wins - nothing!!!

And this on top of 4 US channels showing the Olympics. How twisted is that? I need to get a satellite dish, I guess.

 

I hope Italy wins, but I think Lituania will

 

Yeah i wish that Lithuanians win, by the way I think Italy is great team...Also one of winners could be Spain- very strong team


And By the way what strange things happeneds- one day you hear about sportsman who won a silver medal(Lithuanian Alekna in discus throw) And the second day he is the winner and gets gold medal, because guy from Hungary used doping!!!!but congratulations Hungary with silver medal

Other people can think I am crazy that I am happy about one medal, but it is so, cause not so many medals get LIthuanians, by the way we also get 3-5 medals during all Olympics that's why I am so happy.it's our first gold!!!

 

I think I have been there, and I have certainly been to Glyfada. But I prefer the smaller and coasier cafées to be found in other parts of Athens, rather than all the huge nightclubs in Glyfada.

My girlfriend said that her neigborhood belongs to Maroussi, but the part of Maroussi in which she live is called "Vrillisia". Do you know that place, mary? I think Vrilissia is an upper-middleclass neighborhood. The streets there are calm and without traffic, and apparently only rich people live there.

 

Yesterday and day before yesterday, all Lithuania cryed for two LIthuania basketball loss to Italy and USA in Olympics......
However I hope we gonna meet our basketball players in airport like reall champions!

What I think, is really a shame, is that USA didn't even send their best basket-players to Athens. The best players play in NBA instead, because there are more money to earn there, than in the olympics. Some NBA-players didn't even want to participate in the olympic games. And apart from all the other olympic participants, the american basket-players live on Queen Elizabeth with luxury facilities etc.
That's very disappointing...

 

I am proud of my national team....I just love them....
And LIthuania is REAL basketball country....WE have only 3,5 million of people, but we won against famous basketball teams in Europe championship...LAst three years we were wiinners of bronze in Olympics(sad that this time we lost)
And yesterday...YEah America was stong team, but we were stong enough to beat them, but............ MAybe next time.........

 

As I said, I had to swallow my own words, 5 matches won in the previous and then we fell with the worst "dream-team" ever and play for the 7th place.

This is unfair, they would have to change and make it like in waterpolo, the first in the previous directly to the semi-finals, and the other two to play a place in the semi. It's unfair but well, it was it.

 

Yeah I really wanted that Spain and LIthuania would be in Finals........
I think that they were strongest teams, by the way Lithuania too was the leader of group B....!!!!
