Is that your response to every single thing? Someone doesn't agree with your immaturely-based opinions and you tell them to go join the army? That's hilarious on every level.
Idi Amin was from Uganda. When some Palistinians hijacked a plane full of Israelis, they flew it to Uganda, where they were welcomed. The Israeli army staged a raid which rescued everyone. Perhaps you got your movies mixed up. I believe he died of syphalis.
Back when the Blackhawk incident happened Americans still remembered Vietnam. And when we saw our soldier's body dragged around town for a cause that most American's were not familiar with, it was politically strategic to withdraw. Too bad we are willing to sacrifice our youth today for something that is even more questionable.
I doubt they ever get the opportunity to forget. Maybe , maybe to retrieve the soldiers ?. What was questionable about the other operation ?.
Actually I wasn't referring to our strike on Somalia, but I do question it's motives. We haven't landed ground troops there, yet. I was referring to sending our children to the middle east to fight a battle for oil, based on lies..
I still as of today have not seen validated statistics on the number of civilian casualties in Somalia or verification that we hit our target any better and took out enemy combatants better than we did when Clinton bombed the phamacutical company in the Sudan and killed a janitor, during his impeachment hearing. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/htmlContent.jhtml?html=/archive/1998/08/21/wemb21.html I think African targets prove to be great distractions for political means.
I see, thanks for clearing that up. Well it seems if your thoughts are valid it was a inside job [on the part of the somalian 'goverment']. Judging by what i posted in the previous post. I think it will be other nations troops 'landing troops'. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IGASOM I see. I don't think i want to get into that one, if you don't mind.
More likely a 'distraction' for the bored journ's commenting on the 'Clinton affair'. Making something seem like there is a connection when there is not. See, i can be as cynical as yourself.
Um..yeah...I already thanked someone for the correction over on page two. I didn't have my movies mixed up. I had my tyrants mixed up. Sorry about that.
au contre my friend this is a highly valid question and also a silver bullet against the war monger/ war lover/ war apologist whatever. if you think this war is so necessary and so just, then it is high time you join up like a good american patriot and get yourself over there instead of wasting your time arguing with little pricks like us who just don't get it and don't understand one thing about why america is in iraq. the american army is desperate for committed troops like yourself who are just itching to get your boots dirty, what they need is people like you, you understand why america is there, do it now, join up. if you won't join up then i can only understand that there is a problem, you say the war is necesssary but personally won't touch it with a barge pole. this is known as hypocrisy and to base your arguments on hypocrisy makes your argument/debate weak. heres a definition of hypocrisy from the web..... Definitions of hypocrisy on the Web: an expression of agreement that is not supported by real conviction insincerity by virtue of pretending to have qualities or beliefs that you do not really have wordnet.princeton.edu/perl/webwn Hypocrisy is the act of pretending to have beliefs, virtues and feelings that one does not truly possess. The word derives from the late Latin hypocrisis and Greek hupokrisis both meaning play-acting or pretence. The word is arguably derived from hypo- meaning small, + krinein meaning to decide/to dispute. A classic example of a hypocritical act is to denounce another for carrying out some action whilst carrying out the same action oneself. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypocrisy
hahahahaaha guy you ARE a funny fellow. Not only that, a lunatic a condescening lunatic hahahahahahaha.
Well Lodui, since you take this so lightly, i'd like you to know that our government is actually funding and helping the same people who dragged our own soldiers through the streets. Yes, they are on our governments side now, and the opposing side who wants a free nation and a democratic government is being attacked and murdered by our government. Let me state that again, our government is funding and helping the same somolians who killed our troops in the 1990s!
I think i did, but i can't remember the details. I think it was clintonesque, right ?. Yeah it is coming back to me. I don't see your point, with out a brief reminder.Sorry.
