faking accents

who here can fake accents?

 

i can and alot of them

 

I can do a british, austrailian, russian, and chinese accent...

lol my scottish accent ends at the impersonating the grounds keeper from the simpsons...lol I can do the New York one...being a New Yorker and all lol I so choose not to do that one though...

 

I have a hard time with English and I am English. Well, not really. I am more like English, Irish, Italian, and French.

yup, I love faking accents. Irish is probably the easiest, my freind and I crank the irish all the time in town...often with funny results...it's amazing how uh, 'caring' people are when they think that you are a lost, irish tourist

the only problem i have is when im among people with an accent i almost certainly start using that one too

 

fuck no...its really hard for me. as i have the boston accent, i don't really have the ability to do that as well as a lot of my friends can't either. but i really dont' try to fake accents either. but some people say i can do an irish one, but i dunno about it...i might if i actually put effot into it.

I think the British accent is hilarious. aka Monty Python, Faulty Towers, Ab Fab, and The Office.

Italian accents are sexy.

Pure English is just so proper.

i can fake the accent of an american girl who has lived in germany for 2 years ... learning the german language fast and instead of having a horribly american sounding accent in german she has a strange one that noone can place.. and instead of having a german sounding accent in english she has a de-americanized but not quite english or anything else except something really weird (european at best but not quite) accent that annoys her sister. oh wait i dont fake that... im just turning into a female version of arnold schwarzeneggar hahahaha. but not as bad.

I saw this episode of dharma and greg where they were doing this southern accent, and it completely blew my mind. I tried so hard, but I could'nt do it. You have to so spontanious with the things you say, I just can't do it. lol, whenever my friend answers the phone, he does it with an english accent "hell-o govna!" type voice. It's really funny when your stoned

 

Tech...I am a Massonian. I was born and raised in Mass. Now I live in PA. My accent has a bit of both but when I go back to Mass it takes me 5 seconds to pick it all back up again.
