The media thinking they have more power and influence than they do, shocking concept to imagine. I do know where you are coming from. I just think the media like to give themself more kudos than they deserve.

I agree . I suspect there are exceptions to the rule. I agree with you though.
To be honest, i think any person dedicating themselves to political life, is taking on a job not matched in many job sectors. I don't envy them at all.

No offence, but have you ever looked at the myriad of commitee meetings that take place. it is a little mind boggling to be honest.

Not a very good google search. I'm sure it could be better. The point being, i do think these issues are discussed. To the point of tedium, to be honest.

The media again, i suspect they like printing pictures of people with placards. Gee whiz i'm a little cynical today. Sorry.

    Picture?
    Phwoar!!!!!

    I agree; again.

Tell you what, I need to work out how to use the quote boxes properly. No need to explain I'll get there, probably when I'm old enough to go into politics, if you're to believe me.

She always perks up my day. I was just about to bore you rigid by explaining how the quote thing works. I guess you are not going to be aware of the full impact that knowledge will have on your life, right now.

    It is easy really.

Good luck, and take care. [IMG]

another improvement will be the insertion of microchips into the citizenry to monitor body chemistry and brain patterns so that we will be able to arrest criminals before they commit a crime

I think they be arresting every person in the UK [if we ar still united that is :H ].
When is this going to happen, 360 years time ?. Do you see that as a good or bad thing ?. I don't see how they would filter out everybodys thoughts, that are criminal sometimes, not backed up by action.
