Meditation

    I have a question and I don't know if this has happened to anyone else. I used to meditate on a daily basis and loved it but eventually I stopped because I started to have bad nightmares on a nightly basis. Has anyone experienced this?

    Iv'e never experienced this. However when I first started to meditate I did dream more, but the were quite pleasant dreams :)

    When I meditated, I had more indepth and intuitive dreams, more intuitive insights, saw more of auras, ect. But I never had actual nightmares, unless you could the demonic possession dreams, but yeah, I took care of that in my own way. Meditating just makes you more sensitive to things.

    I have noticed better memory of dreams and more frequent lucid dreams associated with meditation frequency. I'm wondering if for you the nightmares are more related to better memory of what you have dreamed. I have also occasionally notice troubling emotions and memories being more vivid with frequent meditation. On the one hand, I assume this is a positive thing that I need to work through, but it does sometimes lead to my backing off on meditation frequency.

    Maybe you can track down the source of the stress leading to the nightmares and transform it with Vajra Teeth, or perhaps investigate lucid dreaming as a way to confront it at the time it happens.

    Perhaps we should always remember that all of this, even when awake, is a dream.

    nightmares arent connected with meditations, but are onnected to ur life and ur mind..

    if u have problems or u r are stressed or depresed, this may lead to nightmares....

    mediations are used to destress the body and make it feel calmer...
