You know your career is through when your last ever performance is at the Dive in Cape Carteret (my town, a shithole at that). Ahhahaha...My brother bartends there. He could have gotten me in. ...Well, damn.
I think the bar name alone explains the level of celebrity. I'm sure it's a fine establishment, but still... I'm with Lucy though...who is he again?
colt 45 and 2 zig zags, baby that is all we need. we can go to the park after dark, smoke that tumble weed. as the marijuana burn we can take our turn singing them dirty rap songs. stop and hit the bong like cheech and chong, and sell tapes from here to hong kong. so roll, roll, roll my joint, pick out the seeds and stems. feeling as high as hell flying through palmdale, skatin on dayton rims, so roll, roll the 83 cadilac coupe deville. if my tapes and my cds just dont sell, i bet my caddy will. hahah.. my old best friend and i used to blast that song in the car, just to get looks from people... two girls listening to music like that plus the other parts of the song are funny.
I was actually fortunate enough to meet Afroman. He's a really cool guy. If you've ever seen him or heard any of his music he's obviously not a mainstream rapper, with one of those fake "gangster fronts" going on.
I found a track of his on the net, with him "dissing" all the mainstream rap....I laugh everytime I hear it. He's got some groove to 'em.....
