It's so damn cold!!

I am in swets socks have a blanket on my lap and the heater on... and I'm still cold as hell... It's not supposed to freeze in AZ... it's 29 degrees outside right now.

 

Damn girl! Its pretty nice out here.

 

It's 60 degrees here, and will be 70 tomorrow........

 

The weather has been so weird. It's been colder here this winter than it ever has been before.

 

The pipes and the fountain at my moms house froze and didn't thaw today.

 

^And probably the opposite here. It is not like Jan. at all here. More like April.

I tell myself "winter won't be here too much longer... why does it feel like it never came at all?"

 

you people are lucky..... its around 20 degrees here....... theres snow on the ground and a sheet of ice layered on top..... great stuff!

Oh another funny thing is that it's this cold and I had to go outside and pull weeds today. Weird.

I didn't even get to 50 during the day today. The high was 43.

 

It's really cold here as well, and it has been almost continously windy (gusting) for weeks now. I purchased thermals (top and bot) and it has made a world of diff. Friend of mine is a gardener and he tells me he is having significant difficulty due to the weather. He also told me that citrus and other crops in California are being severely damaged by the cold conditions (and think 2006 was hottest year on record ).

This is nice compared to every day since Wed. It's no longer below -40 with the windchill (-40's the same in C and F)
