So I'm going to do a quasi-reupholstery job of my sofa which is a bit old by now, 15 years, and has a sort of lived-in by cats look at the moment. I need to do a quick fix for the moment and thought I'd reupholster the cushions with muslin and go from there. (I have a pattern for a slipcover.) Question tho' - the fabric of the cushions and part of the sofa is either coming off or has come off. there is another layer of something (almost looks like fusing...) before the foam. In some places, the foam is showing (it has a throw on it at the moment).

What should I use? do I need to cover the foam and with what...?

    thanks so much!
