I have some hyoscymaine. According to Erowid it can cause "hyperpyrexia, accelerated pulse, mydriasis, confusion, delirium. hallucinations, exaltation, and bizarre neurological symptoms" Medical journals reccomend not consuming over 1.5 mg in a day but erowid has a story of someone who may have taken upto 20mg. It also has a history of religious purposes in several cultures. Has anyone ever tried this drug before? What's the high like (it is similar to anything else out there)? How much did you take? Can you recommend any other helpful websites? I'd like to try it but I'm concerned about potential overdoses and would like some first hand information first.
don't do it. it's a deliriant like benedryll, belladonna, mandrake, henbane etc. Basically you feed your body an extremely toxic substance, get really tired, can't walk, and see hallucinations that you can't tell apart from reality. Also, sometimes you get amnesia and forget you took the drug. People always do stupid stuff on deliriants. Your hallcuinations are similiar to the hallucinations you experience when you get delirius from an extremely high fever. In addition, your hallucinations can physically hurt you. read this: http://www.erowid.org/experiences/exp.php?ID=35717 (not a particularly bad trip)
good to know. Thats why I don't mess with anything until I have enough information. You can never be too careful, esp. with pharmies.
I just found this link too. I figured I'd post it in case anyone else came to this thread looking for answers: http://www.erowid.org/experiences/exp.php?ID=58661
I am prescribed this antispasmdic pill for IBS. It has absolutely no recreational value. You become disoriented and very tired. Not like the effects of any other drugs, benzos or opiates where you are kind of euphoric at times. It does reduce anxiety though. Sometimes I will feel extremely tired till the next day if I don't sleep all of it off. I hope that answers your question.
