natural morning glories

so i had TONS of morning glories last year only thing is i didnt know what they were b4 they all died now i want to know if you can hand pollinate if you can then what to use to do it, what to catch the seeds with (baggie or w/e) and any other info on it. (some i all ready know from various sites) praying i have many of them like last year if not i can go buy some seeds (if im going to buy'em i want more than i pay for so i dont want to just eat all of them) or get some from off the side of the road and replant them. (sorry if this is a retarted idea i just dont like to pay anything for my stuff ) thanks alot ya'll.
