Im dreading my hair tomorrow!!!

I am sooo excited! I have been growing my hair out for months to get it to the length so my dreads wouldn't be to short....

and tomorrow.... I'm finally dreading it! I am just so excited. I will have to post some pictures tomorrow.

Im having a bunch of girls over and im gonna make a mixed drink, put on a little grateful dead...and then let them go at my hair.

I only have one pic today... The top isn't done, my friend had to go home early because her dad had something come up... so I am going to finish them tomorrow.

Its not a good pic. I have more, but they are from my phone and I haven't sent them to my email yet. Here is the only one i have so far...

I have a bandana on.. but tomorrow i will post some without the bandana.

hummblebee... thank ya. I keep hearing from some of my friends and relatives that they are going to look horrible... but i keep tellin them that their opinion doesn't matter to me.. and they are conditioned to believe that dreads aren't a beautiful thing. They ARE a beautiful thing!

OOOH yes. OREGON. I live in oregon. Salem. Capitol city baby... I will hug many trees for you. I am going for a walk here in a tad bit... sooo... i will say... this hug is for hummblebee...missin oregon's beauty.

 

lol. I lived in Salem for many years on and off (I had a tendency to disappear for long periods of time... ) Went to CCC... Silver Creek Falls is my "Lawn"... We probably know a bunch of the same people!

Hmm I've been to chattanooga, memphis, knoxville, nashville, murpheesboro, and everywhere in between. I'f I'm not mistaken I think all of thsoe places also ahd trees

I live right next too it in some apartments... oh man, what a small world. Did you ever hang out at the coffee house cafe? I am there frequently...

lol... Lots of friends in Crackcouver, too! And I hung out at the Coffeehouse a lot way way back in the day... and a little bit later on. I hear A.P. sold it since then? An old friend of mine is doing some of their cooking these days. Spent a lot of time with Oregon Peaceworks, a few years ago an old friend of mine opened a Bakery downtown (Cascade Baking Co.)... My family was way involved in the UU church... I'm still in touch with a lot of my favorite people out there, but I try to stay a little detatched these days. I like my life as drama-free as I can keep it, and that town is full of the drama! Wouldn't be so bad if a couple of folks out there didn't keep trying to suck me back in...

 

Man. Thats crazy. I am at the coffee house every day... we were working on my dreads there yesterday.. A.P.... I don't know who that is... but I do know Richard.. he cooks.. is that who you are refering to? I am friends with all the baristas there as well. I haven't ever been to cascade baking co. I am still a newbie to town... and I'm slowly discovering all what salem has to offer... And you are right! Salem does bring a lot of drama... I already have been involved with that.... and I'm trying hard to get out of it all.
