Some people like to be quiet & alone during some part of their day, while others need to be always doing something, be constantly around other people, play a radio, or have a television on at all times. (even when they are not watching). I can sit for many hours in the stillness and quiet, doing this and that, or even just sitting alone looking out the window for long periods, checking out the backyard happenings, and peacefully thinking and reflecting on many different things. So, do you like it low-key and quiet, or..... Do you require lots of stimulation to be content. ????
I usualy allways have music on, if possible. I can be content without it though....I just sing to myself lol. Even when I read I'll leave some tunes on.
I love peace and quiet...and I also love a lot of activity. It all comes down to my mood, but usually, at least once a day, I like to have about an hour's worth of solitude and quiet before getting buckwild(if that's whats going to happen!!)
I always like to have something going on in the background. Otherwise I'll get paranoid if it's too quiet. =3
I need so much stimulation I end up twitching and laughing hysterically on the ground in a frenzy of flashing lights and Sounds.
I can swing either way, I love just sitting in solitude playing guitar, yet i also love being around those i love
I prefer peace and quiet, especially after I get home from work at the end of a long day. My partner is the opposite and likes to blast Widespread Panic as soon as he walks in the door. When I go to sleep, I need a dark, silent room. He needs a television with images and sounds. We haven't yet found equilibrium but the question has come up: What does this mean? I have stated that he is not at peace if he needs a television happening in the background. He has said it is just a difference in character and has nothing to do with weather you are at peace or not. Any thoughts?
depends on the day.. some days i feel like i need some intellectual intercourse and some days i could really care less about being amost people.
intellectual intercourse...that is really great...I love that. I don't know if you made it up but if you did you're a budding writer.
I don't need a lot to be content, on the contrary. But I like to have music on when I'm at home. Except when I'm reading, then I prefer it quiet.
Well, I'm easily over stimulated. I try to do everything I can at my leisure.I prefer quiet sometimes. I enjoy, dance, reading, walking, meditation and conversation....unadventurous...maybe, but I like it
