I like Bronners' Lavender liquid. As S.E. said, it's mainly because it's easy to get a hold of.

I'm yet to wash my hair since backcombing, but I figured I'd just keep useing my hemp bar soap, it has no artificial ingredients or anything. Is there any reason why this would be bad. Do knottyboy or Dr Bronners soaps do soemthing different other then not leaving residue?

I use Bronner's. Usually liquid, but last time I went to get some they were out so I got a bar instead. I like tea tree or peppermint the best. Lavender is ok on occasion, but it's too sweet-smelling for me to use all the time. :)

I ordereds a few bars of dr. bronners... and just tried one for the first time... rose scented. It is wonderful, and my dreads smell much better with this than they did with the ivory soap... it had an odd scent. now I can't wait to try the other scents that I bought. :)

I first bought Dr Bronners Peppermint liquid... which smells great & leaves your head feeling nice and cool when rinsed. I just switched to the Tea Tree Dr Bronners because I'm hoping it will help with the itches and flakes. Tea tree is an acquired scent but has antiseptic qualities so it helps with flakes and acne.

I've used everything from bar soap, mane n tail, and dr bronners. I favor DrBronners liquid for sure. Theres just something about it ha, seriously. I like the tea tree oil a lot! It just smells so earthy and good, plus it coms in the orange bottle hahah. Now I'm using the peppermint though, just to change it up. [IMG]

I've used my own handmade shampoo bar, Hempchouli from prairielandherbs.com, lushs *new* bar, and The Dread Head Liquid shampoo. The HQ shampoo definatly feels like it locks them up more, but it has a strange consistancy, the Hempchouli feels like it mousturizes too much, The Lush bar smells really good and I feel like it works well with my dreads, but is too expensive for a little bar. My handmade bar is my favorite, I wish I had more than one bar left! But heres the old link from them :

Oh and I don't have any more but I think what did it was the sea salt to the mix.

Bronner's Tea Tree is amazing^^. i ran out about a month ago, and didn't have any more on hand, so i found a real random herbal shop in the next city over. they had bronner's, but no tea tree. but right next to it was some crazy off-brand tea tree soap that is basically bronner's..lol. and it was cheaper^^. doubt i'll ever find it again, but it was cool at the time..lol

Someone stole my Dr.b's at a rainbow gathering in Thailand I just left from. I don't think you can get Dr.b's here so I've been using baby shampoo. I haven't tried knotty boy yet......though
