Well, you first need to completely understand what happens to your body and mind (as much as we know about Psilocybin) before consuming a strong psychedelic. You need to understand what's going on for your own safety (as it's pretty much all in your mind you need to understand that), others safety and if you need to quasi debate your reasons for using them you won't sound like a bumbling fool to friends or in the worst case parents. Oh yea, also have a "sitter" in my opinion. That would be a friend who has at least a basic understanding of what's going on and of course IF they have their own prior psychedelic experience. When it comes around (which is very rarely) it is about $50 an eighth (which is ridiculous b/c setting up a grow op would cost less than a quarter ounce). Ask your friends and dealers as usually they will have connections (dealers especially). If you are looking for a lot of hallucinations and all that you might be a bit disappointed as it is more about thinking and expanding your mind than seeing distortions and OEV's. im in ohio which is kinda close to you but ive always paid from $25-$35 i would really pay anything over $35 unless your really desperate because $35 is still really high. As far as effects go you never know everyone is different. I get real strong visuals and such and one of my friends gets almost none. But most likely what its gonna be like is that your gonna get a really nice body high and you'll see stuff move around a little bit (not like your in outer space though and shits floating all around you). If you do get some enjoy cause there alot of fun.
In Rhode Island its 25 to 35 an 8th depending on who you get it from. most of the people that sell are college kids who are extremely desperate for money so its usually 35.
I payed $35 for the 8th last tiem but I was buying form a kid who made no profit and had to strugle to not eat them himself so I threw him $5 : )
