WOOT my lawyer is Da BOMB

So today I went to court with 3 charges
misdeamenor-Assault and Battery
felony-Manufacturing/Distriubtion of marijuana
felony-Manufacturing/Distrubition of controlled substance aka mushrooms

Walked into the court house thinking I was gonna get from 0-11 mths in jail, came out with probation with the YTA. Its called Youth Trainee Act which was some law that was passed where the defendent if in school, working part time, have no previous records and are a decent citizen then you can get the YTA which takes the felonies off your record and it just shows up as an arrest on your file but no charges, and just gotta do Probation for awhile. Hell Yah . I love my lawyer, or rather I love my dad for paying for a lawyer.

 

you got real lucky... no one in my family would pay for a lawyer if it was drug charges

 

yea neither would mine. i had to pay for my lawyer for 2 counts of breaking and entering, 3 counts of injury to property back in august. luckily i got them all dropped!

 

How much did your legal help end up costing?

 

hell yeah lawers rock! ive had the same lawyer since i was 8.
i had to sell my VW bus to pay for my lawyer.
it ended up costing about $3000 all together.
