Im new so whatsup. Anyway I smoke like 2-3 times per week, usually a couple bowls here and there and cigs in between. I tell my parents that I'm seeing a movie which gives me from after school to around 10 or 11 usually. I usually do end up seeing a movie, but they still are crazy suspicious every time I get home. Last night they told me my eyes werent clear so ill definitely need some eye drops. But anyway for any of you that used to or still smoke when your parents are paranoid, I need advice on earning their trust. I was thinking about offering to let them test me every time I get back? and using the bleach trick- i planted some cleaner w/bleach in our bathrooms just in case. Ive been playing the shocked and offended card when they accuse me of something, but i dont know how much longer until they get too suspicious and dont even let me go out. thanks if you actually read all that, help is appreciated
if i was you, i wouldn't go with the "you can test me" angle. sure the bleach trick could work, i've never tried it, but there could be that one time where it doesn't work and then you're screwed. if they don't ask you to take a drug test, i wouldn't say something about taking one. i'm not saying your parents are crazy enough to drug test their kid, but if you think they might suspect something, you don't want to give them the option. i don't know if you use the movie excuse everytime you toke, but i would switch it up so it doesn't look like just an excuse to leave the house. try toking on days that you sometimes don't smoke on. eye drops would help and make your eyes nice and white. just don't leave them laying around to be found. also, try smoking with enough time to enjoy your high and come down before you see your parents. besides that, just don't act shady if your high and you should be good.
why dont you take a break from smoking for a bit? it will also make your tolerance go down a bit. if not you i think you should still cut down and just be really sneaky. dont keep using the cinema excuse, think of better ones. like maybe get a new hobby like swimming, ice skating or something which they would approve of. toke before you do the activity so when you get back you're fine. that's what i would do anyways.
stop doing things that are so suspicious, coming home at ten or eleven without even being home all day before that, I mean, geez. and definately visine and gum I had to earn back my rents trust after getting BUSTED, and believe me, the trust level is never the same after that
I got eye drops today and I'm working on thinking of a new excuse...but seriously where i live there is nothing to do but party and go to the movie, especially without a car. Thanks for the advice everyone, ill think of something...
chill when you talk to them. dont like you have something to explain, act like you think the same way they do about weed.
Fuck, one of my best friends who i smoked with yesterday got caught. luckily he told his parents that i refused to toke, but still I'll have to talk to my parents for a while once they find out that he smoked.
call them and tell them what your doing thats what i did to earn trust back with my mom. For excuses just say your gonna hang out with friends and such.
tell them you smoke pot? i ended up getting busted but I told them pretty much everything after that. they're not cool about it, but i mean, they know its going to happen at parties and what not. I came home the otherday blazed and my mom looked at me and she said "you're eyes are, you're stoned arnt you?" I kind of laughed and shook my head, she just said "have a good sleep". Kind of cool.
ya not so many parents are that understanding. My parents said if i didnt go to rehab they would go to the courts and get me for unrulely teen charge or some stupid bullshit like that. so dont just tell them you smoke when you can avoid unnecessary drama and trouble. Although it would be nice to be open with your parents but thats not gonna happen for most people.
Stop lieng man, nothing is worth it. NOTHING. But if you dont take my advise, just get some freakin visine.
