After i drop for the next week or so everytime i smoke bud i get Phychadellic highs. Slight tracers and some light patterns, expecially if im looking into the darkness or something. Is this just because of the lingering lsd or does the acid open or "unlock" some greater phychadellic properties of weed? Does anyone else ever get those??
ya when i get high i get real fucked up now after doing to many psychedelics at least thats what i think.
for me, if I didnt get to take the full trip b/c of a bad environment, and I couldn't just let it all go, then every time after that when I smoke weed, I would have a mild short trip, only like 15-30 mins..... also, if you smoked while tripping, like on the come-up, your subconscious remembers the acid trip so it can sometimes recreate some of your acid experience (just a theory) this is all based on my experiences... so did u take the full trip completely? if so, it's still common...
since acid unlocks so much, and weed unlocks some but to a much lesser degree, weed may cause the doors to open a bit more now that you've done acid, and your brain like, remembers the trip, etc., and you get some visuals, or a very mild trip, etc.
I think everyone is pretty much right here. It's your strong memory of the trip, combined with the fact that in my opinion acid permanently gives you a greater appreciation for the pot high. When you have experienced time slowing to a near standstill on acid or shrooms, the milder time dilation of marijuana will be much more obvious than before. I always got really high before I tripped, but now, if I go for a while without smoking, I always get launched into orbit. Pot really is a psychedelic experience for me now.
I've always said that weed is a psychedelic drug at heart. When I was 14- before I took any psychedelics weed used to make me trip- seriously- It effected me completely different to everyone else. One of my earliest memories though- probably four years old- waking up in the morning and staring at one of my paintings on the wall- watching it move- bend and warp- only slightly- but not unlike a mild trip.
