i know this sounds kind of dumb, but im stuck between a solid silver stud or a faux diamond stud. theres pics of my face in my gallery if it helps, but which do you think would be better. i know i dont want color, im getting a tiny screw with the tiniest stud i can.

something along the lines of one of the two of these:

not exactly what i was thinking of/what the store sells, but you get the idea

Get both?! lol! I think a plain silver one would work for any time or any occasion though. Sometimes you may not feel like having a sparkly thing on your nose. lol!

I'm with nightowl on this one. Silver would be best. Goes with anything.

I vote for both, that way you wear whatever you're in the mood for that day.

Both. I have one of each and I switch 'em out whenever I feel like it.

i say go with the diamond, it'll go just as well with anything as the silver will, and it's nice and flat so it won't look like a mole or a zit.

Yeah, you are supposed to leave it in for 6-8 weeks or something. I would then go with the diamond. I think a little bit of color is very pretty. When I got mine done I got a little flat teal one.....and I still like it better than my silver one. Plus it's always fun choosing a color....I think.

so the guy didnt even give me a choice. its a round silver ball with a tiny crystal gem in the top. its cool, just bigger than what i wanted, but ist what i have for the next two months so cant complain. i also cant get it to sit straight and its too sore to mess around with it now.

but i will probably get some to switch around after this heals enough to switch it.

    thanks for responding :)

its funny, i keep being told it 'looks hot' its just a hole in my nose. whatever, if i look hot im not about to complain!!

it makes me happy. and i was debating doing earing studs, but it wont work with the shape of my nose, id accidentally pierce my septum with it. dont want to do that.
