According to new U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) data, sugar consumption in 1999 was 158 pounds per person — 30 percent higher than in 1983. Consumption has risen every year but one since 1983.

    158 pounds per year = 50 teaspoons a day.

In 2002, the consumption of sugar is approximately 170 pounds per person per year in the United States

Only 2 of the 12 most common eaten foods on the entire planet are raw plant foods. Oranges and coconuts.

The used cooking oil behind restauraunts is often used in pet food and cosmetics, where-as it could be used as a clean burning bio-diesel fuel alternative.

Women who wear mainstream cosmetics products may be unknowingly applying as many as 175 different chemicals to their bodies every day, according to ChemicalSafeSkincare.co.uk.

Also, don't think of your skin as a wall, but a sponge to these chemicals. To get a real understanding of this, rub a piece of garlic on your foot and you will taste it in your mouth 15 minutes later.

My mom discovered this fact and went crazy a few months ago. Our local health food store carries organic-no-by-product dog food. It's steep at 90 bucks for a 40 pound bag and people thing she's ilogical for spending that each week on dog food (we have two big dogs) but it's perfectly logical to me.
If you're going to domesticate animals you owe it to give them a good and healthy life or else you are not keeping them as pets-you're enslaving them.

I traded in my bobbi brown make-up for this mineral make-up from whole-foods. I saved a lot of money and my skin isn't irritated and dry any longer. The mascara is wonderful and it conditioned my eye lashes so well that sometimes I even skip the mascara now.
