    Faith in chaos
    Second after second
    The time ticks by
    No reason for how
    No reason for why
    The only constant
Are the formidable factors of change

For all your disposable dredges of despair
For all you naysayers of doubt
And to all your partners in crime
All your paired participants in perjury
    There is no savior

Amidst the relic realms of certainty
    Where the shadow dwellers dance
    Obscene and ominous
Like a hurried harbinger of hell
    A projected prophet of peril
Vagrant trust receding in recent recoil

    Marching multitudes of mundane madness
Sifting through seasons of sullen somber sadness
What once was livid with lush liquid lucidity
Is now a concrete field of dismal death
    Babylon fading
