Hello All: I was surfing and found this site. Left California June 5th, 1967. Found a home in Seward, Alaska. Have built a log house and the biggest 60's record collection in the area. Have gone to visit the old home sod a few times, but the freedoms are gone now. Have no reason to go to the lower 48 again. Will stay here. .........................Alaskan.....aka...Dennis......
Thank you for the welcome. At this time am sitting at the kitchen table, looking out the window at all the snow. Got hi-tech this winter with a wireless router, so can now drag my laptop around our cabin. Doesn't seem that long ago that the only electric entertainment was a transistor radio. Times have sure changed here in the north country. We now have INTERNET just about everywhere, cell phones, 100 channels of cable TV.......... Went I first came here, almost 40 years ago, I lived in a one room cabin, without plumbing or electric service or telephone. Used kerosene lamps, an outhouse and hauled water from the creek. So thats a little about me and life here in Alaska.........Dennis
