I have a scar going up the top of my foot up my leg about 5 inches long. I was thinking of alterating it with a tattoo. Any ideas of what would look good?
Can we see a picture of the scar? Does it look like a lightning bolt? Because if it does, you can get a tattoo of THOR, Thunder God - and have him holding the lightning bolt, ready to unleash divine wrath on whatever poor sod cut him off in traffic today. Yeah, that would rule.
I tried to upload a pic of the scar but the pixels or something were too big. But it is pretty straight and like I said about 5 inches long and maybe 1/4 inch wide. Like the idea of it being the body of something.
rad ideas just to let you know... bein a tattoo artist and having gotten many tattoes myself... its gonna hurt alot to get tattooed over a scar.
Not necessarily. I've had some bad scars tattoo'd. Most of my scarred skin was so badly damaged that is was pretty much numb. I agree it's a great idea. I've not regretted mine at all, in fact I've turned into the Tattoo Whore! You can't hardly see my scars unless you're looking at how the light shines on the unevenness of the skin there. I am aware of the pain it would probably cause. But it will be not be any where near the pain I went through to receive the many scars I have. I guess I am more tolerant to pain now. Thanks for letting me know though.
No way. Appendicitis scars are awesome. Fucking metal. I'm gonna get my appendix taken out just so I can have that brutal scar.
You will not find tattooing that painful, I bet. It's nothing compared to what the medical profession does to you. And helped that when I was sick they stuck me so many times that I lost all my phobia of needles too.
Yeah I have had a tattoo before was not bad at all. The worst pain ever imaginable is what I have already gone through. Ha I know all about those needles as well.
