    Hello all,

I moved out west hoping to find work and a place to settle for a bit. Im 17, and have had very little luck. Now I am planning on moving further west to the Vancouver and Victoria area.

Does anyone have a bed they can offer me for a night? a week? That is all I need until I can find a job and a more permanent place to stay. If not, I will sleep in my car so even a spot in a driveway would be of great help.

    Thanks.

    Danny

I live in Victoria. We have a guest room but I have 5 roommates and I'd have to clear it with them. Something tells me that not everyone will be on board. If I were you I'd start looking for a place now. Use the UVic and Camosun College "off-campus housing" option, along with craigslist.org to find a place. You look like a student if you're 17 or 18 so you could get a nice deal here. I pay 340 a month (in Victoria, that's AMAZING), and I get a room in a house with roommates, internet, cable in my room, digital cable in the living room, heat, hot water, electricity, washer and dryer, dishwasher, all appliances you'll ever need, etc. Too bad the last room just got rented, it's the smallest one and it's 315/mo. Anyway, I'd start lookin' for roommates. My house is pretty full with estrogen though, so you'd have to deal with other people.. I found out this is harder than I thought.
