So my boyfriend was over helping me clean and tidy my room. We were going through pieces of pattern paper and deciding what was salvagable and what to through out, along with stray bits of fabric - decided what I can use to quilt and what I need to through out. Anyway, he made an interesting point. He loves to build models. He's a soldier so he likes to build planes and tanks and you know, boy stuff. He said to me, "So it's almost like sewing is like building a model. You have your pieces and you customize to how you like it and then it all gets put together into a bigger piece." I said, "you're right. It is kind of like modelling... I could teach you how to sew, it's probably cheaper"

    "No thanks"

hahaha. Still too feminine I imagine. However, he did say that he wanted me to sew him some pajama pants because he's too tall (6'4") to fit any.. so I said he would have to help me with them hahahaha

it's hard to get guys to do what's often considered 'girly' crafts... I'm tryin' to get my hubby to knit or crochet, because he keeps asking me to make him things, and I'm so busy with other projects, but he doesn't seem to want to learn.

    Silly boys. ;)
