I'm really fucking sick of people. I'm not going to explain the entire incident, but basically it comes down to the fact that people look down on others simply because they smoke pot. I think it's understandable I guess, similar to the way tabacco smokers are discriminated against, but it's all just stupid. Why deny yourself the chance to get to know a possibly nice person just because they smoke weed? That doesn't mean you have to.

Geez... I'm sorry for the rant but people can be so closed minded sometimes...

People will always find a reason to judge you. Marijuana is just an easy one. Be glad you got those pricks out of your hair early.

Yea more recently I've been pissed with someone in particular for her lack of open-mindedness on the same subject.

Yea. Lots of people do suck. Life is like canoeing down a river full of sticks and logs. Meander around the bad shit and keep a clear path of positivity.

I don't have a problem with it really. None of my friends smoke, and they don't have a problem with me smoking. I make an effort to be courteous about it. I don't smoke around them or pressure them to smoke, and I try not to get blazed before we hang out. They are cool though if we're sitting around drinking beer and I want to have a smoke though. Find the good people, sail past the rest.

I know exactly what you mean sun-shine. I had a girlfriend, with a great relationship going, that all ended over christmas break because she just could not be with someone who "does drugs".. Its a shame when society's opinion on pot clouds over, and kills some very great things we enjoy in life.

I'm sick of people finding out I smoke pot and thinking of me as a wasted life, the stereotypical stoner that won't be productive (to society's standards only, of course). I don't understand how people can be so hateful towards others simply because of their different opinions/choices, it's disgusting. I've been sick of people for a while.

Theres plenty of opportunities people may have that does not involve college. I hate when people think you got to go to college to be successful, and thats just not true at all. I think of college, as a place to go to for people who wish to follow a good path, instead of carving their own. All it takes is the right idea and the ways you create to get there.

I wasted my time, and $20000 in college. I did graduate, but I dont want to work in the field I studied (IT). Now I have a $20k debt and am working outside of the info tech field. College isn't for everyone, and you sure as hell shouldn't go unless you know for certain that its the path you wish to take.

I guess I'm just an overall pretty lucky guy.

Yeah, I took a one year fast paced course (mainly because I knew most of the shit from "practical" use.)
