Dondat, my mind is not totally free of course, but I'm aware of things and I try to keep an open mind. That's not what I see if I look at your posts. You have a view and it seems that everybody who's not thinking like you is not free-thinking. That's a shame, 'cause I'm sure you're posting here with good intentions.
I ment with 'we' mankind in general, we're on the wrong track. You were preaching about the fact we're all brothers and sisters, weren't you? You're not the only freethinking mind in the world, or on this forum. Free minds go different ways and still can have the same direction.

I know that every reader has a preconceived view of reality and it is my belief that our own intuitive sense of truth has been trumped by an incessant programming drone of compete, compete, compete, consume, consume, consume…

I am not trying to win a personality contest.

I do have a view! Admittedly it is provocative. To think freely we must pull back the veil of our conformist preconceptions and let our thoughts fly like a bird…a very difficult challenge for anyone that has embraced a competitive, conformist mindset.

Unless I am responding to a post in particular my use of the word you is figurative. But in this case I will use it literally and ask you if you think that we the people are slowly destroying Mother Earth? Are we the people teaching our kids to be responsible and honest citizens? Are we the people passively supporting imperialism by our inaction? If you do then where is the shame?

You are so right… there are many, many other freethinkers. Does one freethinker allow another freethinker to think freely without personal attack? I may challenge the righteousness of your path but I will respect you personal right to choose that path.

I'm happy you do I have to say it didn't looked like that to me in the first place, also because you're repeating your message frequently, true, in different parts of the forum, but you just seem a bit intimidating in your posts.
Almost looks like you're trying to brainwash your fellowmen yourself. I'm sure you're not trying to do that, but the fact that repetition works doesn't mean it's the right way to convince people. That the media is doing that is already bad enough.
Of course a fellow freethinker may challenge an other freethinker or even a random person of the righteousness of their path, even with a personal attack. But in some of you're personal attacks I noticed little respect. Some people are religious and we may feel sympathy for them because we're sure it's not a right way, but we don't have to be offensive or insulting when we're telling that to them. Also, we don't have to tell them numerous times, like a lot of Christians for example like to do to us.
