Hello Everyone, Student in Boone, NC

Hello,

My name is Evan Rey and I have just transfered to appalachian state university. I suppose that already gives me a bad wrap, given the assumption that all students are drunken bar hoppers here. I am interested in meeting some interesting individuals in the area of Boone!!!I have an assignment in my English class and I want to do some research on modern day "hippies" in the area. I have no biased opinions and I consider myself to be very open minded to new things that come my way. I believe this could be a great opportunity to get to know some very nice people, while opening new and vast areas of my mind. I am interested in what the hippie culture has to say...anything would be just fine...maybe a cup of coffee or some kind of meeting to introduce myself. I would really appreciate anyone who is devoted to their way of life and would like to donate some of their time for a greater cause. Thank you very much for your time!
