That reminded me, the last thing lsd said. I read in a tim leary book that it cost something like 100 dollars to make 20,000 hits of acid. Even though it probably costs a little more now, that should give you a good idea of how much acid one person could make, assuming they had the proper equipment.
I dont know why im asking this, but does anybody know why the precururs to LSD are so tightly watched? Do they watch the precursurs to 2cb and dmt the same way? It just seems like a waste of money to so tightly watch chemicals like that.
"sasha" is russki dimiuitive of the name "alexander", & thus is a reference to dr shulgin himself... & his wife is named ann... and in their books PIHKAL & TIHKAL, the man & the woman narrating are "shura borodin" & his wife alice... ~ xorosho, droogmoi...
Because the precursor (ergotamine tartrate) has no widespread application outside of the pharmaceutical industry. The precursors to 2C-B (2,5-dimethoxybenzaldehyde) and DMT (Indole) are both on "watched chemical" lists, but they have wider applications in chemical synthesis than the precursor to LSD does. Therefore, they are somewhat easier to obtain, and easier to fabricate an alibi for purchasing. Not only a waste of money, but it is just about destroying chemistry as a hobby for thousands of amateur scientists and students. Between the DEA, "Homeland Security", and lawyers/insurance companies, an indvidual is going to have a hard time buying just about ANY laboratory chemical these days...
Three things which are not commonly obtainable by anyone are needed to make lsd.... 1. A solid knowledge of organic chemistry (look at pickard, he was a professor at a university) 2. Hundreds of thousands of dollars to invest in lab equiptment and chemicals. 3. Connections....LOTS of them, in all sorts of places. You need hookups in pharmie companies to divert ergotamine tartrate. You need just afew custies under you with lots of custies of their own, or alot of $ to buy the lsd off of you, so that you have a source of funding to pay for your lab (not a cheap thing at all)
also, on another note as ellis was talking about the DEA tracing different prints/liquid's back to their originating lab... Seeing as how many of the precursers you are working with our poisonous, and some of the reactions take exact amounts of chems to complete, you dont only have to have a vague idea of what your doing, but you have to know EXACTELY what your doing, Not only is this a hard enough procedure, but due to the nature of lsd being illegal, and very rare, there is really NO room for error throughout the whole process...just another thing to think about.
perhaps tehre is also a conspiracy on teh govts intensity to get rid of lsd on the streets. lol thats the answer to everyhting! though it is intersting that the us govt used lsd as the perfect assasination tool. scary as well.
i just hope the few who have been providing our moments will become mentors and hand down the knowledge before we lose this culture altogether. such a delicate situation. i'd love to see it all over the nation again.
so wait if all you need is good knowledge and good pharmy connects, a group of friends could go to college, one for each needed area, and get where they need to be and eventually get together and make some doses???
Sure, but in real life, once people work their way through college, earn advanced degrees in chemistry, and then get responsible jobs in the pharmaceutical industry, most of them are too invested in the "system" to get involved in LSD manufacturing. Most of the people with the inclination to do so lack the required knowledge and supply sources.
im sayin people who get their degrees for that sole purpose... im surprised no one has thought of this or tried it! how many people do you think it would take?
Regardless of their original intentions, the hard work involved in earning a chemistry degree (and the lucrative career opportunities that will then be available) will make anyone think long and hard before getting into the drug trade. Most degreed chemists would rather work a steady, legal job than live an underground life, having to constantly look over their shoulders, never being able to really trust ANYBODY and worrying about how to explain their huge income with no visible source. Clandestine chemistry is a dangerous game, especially for people who have more to lose than most....
i get what yer sayin, but what about some people who REALLY want to to get acid and get it to the rest of the world. i'm sure its possible man, i'm not gonna be rockin gold chains and buying mansions and jaquizis from my LSD fortune, if anything, i will probably give excess money away. i'm not even saying im planning to do this, but say someone on this board were to want to, and get together with some people, im sure more people would make it easier with the looking over your shoulder thing, so how would they do it if they really wanted to:?
It might. It also will make the "friend gets busted and rats you out to save his own ass" thing a lot easier, too. No matter how well you might think you know somebody, nothing tests loyalty like facing life in prison unless you turn on your friend.... 1.) Go to the college of your choice. 2.) Major in organic chemistry, with a minor in biochemistry. 3.) Get a job with a pharmaceutical company that works with ergot derivatives. There are maybe one or 2 of them... 4.) Use your paychecks to build a suitable lab. Be careful not to raise any suspicions while buying all the sophisticated glassware and chemicals you will need. 5.) Cultivate the required underworld connections to move your product. 6.) Divert enough ET (despite the Fort Knox security) from your employer to make your LSD. Be careful to avoid suspicion, because if you just quit or drop out of sight right after the stuff disappears, the DEA will be on your trail before you even make any LSD. Keep up your job without drawing any unwanted attention until after you are ready for step #9 7.) Make your LSD without getting caught or blowing yourself up. 8.) Sell the LSD to your pre-arranged middleman without getting burned, and pray that he (or somebody under him) doesn't get busted, and provide enough info to lead back to YOU. 9.) Retire to the private island of your choice. Sounds like a reasonable plan? Good luck!
they do...lsd chemistry is handed down like an aprenticeship in some circles. they dont just disapear altogether. the flood will come, just be ready for it
