Today I noticed a cactus in living room that I had bought about a year ago from ikea. I noticed that it looked exactly like peruvian torch...
What do you guys think is this peruvian torch??

It has 7 spines and it is about 8,5cm high..

The number of spines mean shit- they differ from plant to plant.
That cactus looks tasty- probably peruvian torch- or might even resemble trichoeus bridjesii- which is even stronger.
Apparantly there is a species of cactus which looks botanically identicle to mescaline containing cacti except it does fuck all for you. The only difference is that trichoeus cacti (the good ones) flower at night, dusk or dawn- the other one flowers during the day.
Dig your thumb nail under the skin and check for a bitter taste. I boiled up shitty cactus before and although the didn't taste nice- they all seemed to lack the bitter, horrible tast of good cactus.
Anyway I wouldn't eat it yet- do you live somwhere warm? if you do I would plant it in the ground and let it grow bigger- then take cuttings from a mother plant to trip.

I have that exact cactus sitting in my window right now. I looked it up ay one point and I believe it is related to the Peruvian/San Pedro family, but only has a very little amount of mescaline in it. It isn't worth harvesting. Just makes for pretty window decoration.
