hi hun, I truly believe that everything turns out okay. I think that once life makes some more progress then things will fall into place. Everything will be okay <3
I'm so sorry Suncatch. I have HPV too, and I don't know which asshole I fucked gave it to me. It's apparently one of the more dangerous kinds but my body will proabably fight it off on its own. I don't think your doctor is being fair. They're not taking your best interests into account; they're just thinking about how they would handle any woman. *tags your ear* I think you should seek another opinion from a gynecologist (if you're not already seeing one). It sucks that you've had such sucky experiences when it comes to sex with men, especially with two rapes AND contracting HPV through a condom. I don't think treatment is fair at all when it comes to sexual health, medical or societal. If women have an STD, they're assumed to be the kind of person that sleeps with a ton of guys, no condoms and never getting tested. When a guy gets an STD, he's automatically gay or slept with a dirty whore. It's not fair and it probably never will be.
contact the police i'm sure this is a criminal offence spreading disease whether you've told the person beforehand is no excuse its like "typhoid mary" casually mentioning to someone they have typhoid and reassuring them that its ok. willingly and knowingly passing on a disease to someone else is i would say - assault no doubt your local government would have restrictions placed on willing disease carriers
the vaccine to prevent HPV is an australian invention the australian government is about to finalise a free vaccination programme to try and eradicate this from australian society it doesn't protect against all types of hpv but most
Correct me if I am wrong I probably am but don't we have that vac here in the U.S. to? Would it do a women who alteady has a mild form to even get the vac. I havethe mild form that is laying dorment of signs except for the irregular paps. This vac is suppose to protect you from getting it and protect women from things like cervical cancer? So (I know ask my doctor) but would it do any of us with any of the different types any good to get the vac? I'm not seeing were it would if we are already carriers but as we all know there are many different types of HPV and about what 1/8 of the world already has it or is a dorment carrier?
Sun, No worries. HPV, warts, etc.....are all controllable and can be delt with. I am going to tell you a story. Since I am not a doctor or health care professional I can not prescribe anything, besides most of them are drones for large pharmacutical companies and only repeat and prescribe what is givin to them. I know many people who have overcome the hpv issue. What I would look for is Oregano Oil by a company called Now or use wild oregano. I have seen Oregano oil taken internally for 3 months and wipe out the worst case of hpv, or any type of warts for that matter. Just make sure the you put the oil in gel caps before taking it or I can tell you that the first drop put in the mouth will be the worst tasting experience ever. I have heard that one cap a day with 9 to 10 drops in the cap or about 1 third full, but remember not to get any oil outside the cap. A syringe of some type works well to put any type of oil in a gel cap. Will this work for you? I don't know Do not put it on any mucus membrane period. DO NOT! I repeat it burns burns burns. It can be applied to warts that are external and not near any genitalia or mouth or eyes, otherwise take it in a gel cap. Do your research as well on Oregano oil and you will see what it is all about. Oregano is a very very strong anti-viral and anti bacterial. I would also supplement with acidophilus to replace the friendly bacteria in the intestinal tract. Nature has a way of making things simple, we as a culture make things complicated and profitable for large corporations by way of synthesis and patents. All cures can be found in nature, but most people don't want to believe that because they have been conditioned since birth. Here is a google link I found with a search on the info. Google Link for Oregano Oil and HPV Good luck, RT
Suncatch - HPV is more ommon than you think - figures just came out that about 25% of women your age have it. The meds are discussing immunizing all females under 25 about it.
Good god, it just seems like everywhere I turn there is an std affecting someone I interacted with, care about, love. Hang in there, girl. I am ignorant of HPV but you have forced open my eyes. Lately, I've been dealing with another std, herpes, in my present relationship. I too went to see several doctors (about protection, infection, how it works etc) and they said the same thing... the male doctor seemed disappointed and on the verge of passing judgment until I was slightly amused and just asked what his opinion was anyway. He kept it polite and tried to be a little paternal. I could see in his face that he thought I was stupid to be involved with a man with herpes. It was like by asking him questions and being there, I was wasting his time because he had better things to do than "counsel" someone who could easily sidestep the problem by dumping the guy she cares about. To be honest, I didn't even know how to handle that encounter. I wasn't even the one with the std - it was someone I loved and I was already being stigmatized as well. ?! I do believe you when you mention what you went through and that the psychological is probably far worse than the physical stress. If anything, it's definitely opened my eyes, my experience and now hearing about yours and others, about how fucked up it all is and how marginalized people are, how much prejudice there is, how much unnecessary pain and stigmatization. I know I can't speak for anyone but just being with this man has made me appreciate life ten times over, and it just amazes me how strong he or anyone dealing with a non-curable illness is. I agree also with Realtruth that it's likely there's something out there that can control outbreaks and the physical pain/discomfort. It is the same with herpes. We have found that the chemical (debatable to some) BHT in specific daily doses helps. All the information we found seems like sideline, almost underground information. The doctors won't tell us about BHT because they're not permitted to and it's not approved by the FDA. Like HPV (warts), herpes can be spread WITH condoms and the virus lies dormant in the spine (genital herpes) and dormant at the base of the neck (oral herpes). If there is skin contact while the virus rises to near the surface of the skin, someone with the virus can infect their partner. I understand that HPV is more serious than herpes most definitely because it is life-threatening with the threat of cervical cancer and affecting the reproductive system. Herpes also has the potential to infect newborns in the birthing process, and wreck some damage to the cervix and other parts. It's so frustrating that so many can be affected by something and not only is there no cure, you may not hear about it until it lands smack in your life (as it happened to me). I'll keep you in my thoughts regardless and I'm SO glad you took the time to post this here in the hopes of bringing awareness to others. Please keep us updated.
