i cut off my dreads

it's been 3 years....needed a change. that is all

i think i got whiplash from combing for so many hours...

 

feel naked?

 

haha yeah but almost like "back to normal". i think my head went down like 4 inches in circumference. lol. amazingly my hair is still almost to my shoulders! i couldnt believe it.

i feel like i was wearing a hat for a really long time then took it off.. and i think my head is like 2-3 lbs lighter

 

well that musta took some balls. . . .or . .err . . beers

I wish I could make your dreads magically become my dreads. Although I love mine and wouldn't change them and feel fine to be patient. But man, yours were BEAUTIFUL. I'm sure you look really gorgeous either way. pictures man, pictures.

 

Haha! i promise to post a picture soon. i need to recharge the batteries in my camera. but i'll take one. plus i promised my mom i would send her a photo.

although i did love my dreads, it is nice to have my "normal" hair back. i like it alot.. i think it looks cute.. hopefully!

i thought i would miss 'em alot more than i do. i have plenty of pics from those 3 years.. so im happy with my decision.

yeah, I just recently cut my hair short too.

its different not having a hairstyle that you had for so long. but it is refreshing.
