I play a Bb Soprano Clarinet, and have been for a few months now (though I started playing seriously about a week ago). Anyone else here play Clarinet? If so how long have you been playing and what type do you have? If not, are you ever planning to get a Clarinet?

I love clarinet! So versatile, so jazzy. Lotsa great tunes with it as the lead instrument.

However I dont play one, but wish there were more folks who did. I would enjoy a jam session with a clarinetist, and try some new things.

I can play the clarinet (not very well) because my sister used to play, she has a Yamaha of some sort (don't know what).
    I'm more of a flautist.
I love the instrument... that and the oboe.

oboe has some great somber tones as well - i dig all the wind and reed instruments - they add such a nice dynamic!

Yes, I've been playing the clarinet for a few years, though it's not my favorite instrument. (bassoon is!)

I tend to like the bass clarinet better then the Bb clarinet.

basson is so cool and oboe. if i could learn another instrument i think it would be the oboe. when played well, it can be amazing.

Hey, I play the clarinet too. Well i started playing in band 3 years ago and then 2 years ago I changed over to a Bb bass clarinet. But just recently this year i switched over to an Eb contra-alto clarinet. This monster is prob around 5 foot when all assembled
