Welcome back, and yes at least I remember you. Ah, old Buicks... I have fond memories of a 57 Buick Roadmaster.

I wasn't here a year ago but I commend ya on your taste for cars. I love those 50's cars but to be honest I also love the 30's, 40's and 60's too. Whacha gonna do with the 60?

well since it was packed with all the power accessories i want to take them out along with the A/C and put them in my 58, after that i will more then likely sell it. It has the original nailhead. it was wrecked thought and would need a new driver 1/4 panel and passenger fender. go to myspace.com then click on find by display name and type The Rare Breed. Then check out my photos. and you can see what my 58 Buick looks like and behind it you will see the 60 LeSabre.

ANYWAYS whats going on HipForums? Angelgodiva, etc? how they doing?

Great cars, those old Buicks had class and cool all rolled together. I play with old cars some too, got a '39 Chevy coupe/283/5sd and a huge hog '67 Impala ragtop.

Josh......Many of the old timers here have pulled up stakes. The hard core group may be lurking but don't seem to get into it like they used to. I'm well but I think you know Sam passed away... she kept things stirred up and we still miss her.

Glad to hear a positive note and direction in your message. I like the mid fifties cars....had a '55 Ford for my first car. Then, years later, a '55 Chevy. Keep having fun....life's too short.

    Hey Rap,

why did alot of the old timers pull out? mabe they are back on the road! when did alot of them leave, and why? What state do you live in? would you like a 55 Ford? its a Customline series. for free i only ask for the gas to ship it there. consider it a gift. Considering how much Sam made me realize that you must fight out the old chains of Satin to get your heart free. I think the old timers have a hard time understanding that the younger generation has broken there chains, but without the public eye (undercover sort of) to show how wrong people were and in many cases alot of the older folks still have some dark lettering still on them but they are at least starting to realize there work isnt done ither!

I believe they just got tired of bickering, said their piece ( many times over ), and decided to spend their energy elsewhere.

I appreciate the Ford offer but my energies are directed to (living) critters and work. Not enough left over to nurse old cars back to health.

Sam did teach us all a lot about how to grab hold of life, shake it silly and get our hearts and minds free of the grind of everyday existence.

I don't post much here...... but read from time to time. You take care.

Hi Josh, we still remember you.

I wish I had room to work on cars. I still screw around with vintage mopeds and small motorcycles.

yeah alot has been going on. I finally got my own computer and got my college debt taken care of. lol. Im trying to make getting back on here more common. Miss this place :) Ended up restoring a 59 Buick. Thats what I am currently working on. The 58s are great but the chrome costs alone on one of those can break a bank! Kind of miss the old timers on here but there are alot of new folks here to get to know.
