Well the KC police pulled over a woman who had limited english skills and on their dash cam you can see and plainly hear her inform them numerous times she was on the way to the hospital becuase she was 3 months along and started bleeding. All they kept asking for was her ID and such. A 3 officer arrived and she was female, she again only asked about the ID that this woman had already said she did not have with her and the female officer then asked why she was on her way to the store without ID. Now this woman was calm and everything and never said once anything about the store, just that she was 3 months along and bleeding. They took her to the jail, booked and kept her in jail until the next day. When she was released she went to the hospital by herself and found out she had lost the baby. Now she is going to sue the city and they just dont understand why. SO as women what would you think these 3 officers deserve? I have my views but as your women I could not explain it in a manner worthy of a womans ears to hear.

Link The woman was caught attaching fake temp tags to her car, had already been to the store, delivered a premature infant that died within a minute of birth, etc. I think the behaviour of the officers was despicable. And yes, they should be punished for their behaviour. Any confirmed medical emergency needs to be treated immediately.
This woman may have committed a crime by having fake tags, but she was obviously not a threat. There was no reason to deny medical treatment, and the cops could have stuck around to be sure she was telling the truth, and hauled her off to jail if it turned out she was lying. These cops fucked up, and apparently these two officers are still on duty. Not only do I think that they should be placed off duty during the investigation, I think they should be flat-out fired and held on criminal charges themselves. If I were to block someone in need of serious medical attention from receiving care would that not be considered criminal?
yeah, I saw some of the footage of the way those cops treated that woman, it was really awful. She just keeps telling them over and over that she's trying to get to the hospital, that she's pregnant and bleeding. They just don't care, they treat her like she's lying, making shit up. One of them actually says to her "how is that my problem?" when she says she needs to go to an emergency room. Real scumbag manuevers.
that is just disgusting. i have no faith in police, and these stories always confirm that. how could they do that? i just dont understand. the woman is MISCARRAGING and they are doing NOTHING!??!? I hope she sues them for a ton of money and wins and that both these cops lose their jobs. how horrendous. her baby may have been okay if this hadnt happened.
that's horrible. i can't believe none of the police showed any sympathy for the women who was having a miscarriage. sure.. she did something wrong but they shouldn't of treated her like that.

So you'd let her drive in an uninsured car? They should have called an ambulance, and escorted her to the hospital where she'd be charged.
Couldn't she have died from the blood clot? Either way, I think that is horrible. I thought that police had to bring you to the hospital if you are requesting treatment....like someone else said, if you're lying they can haul you off to jail after they confirm if there is anything wrong with you.
She also had a warrant for child neglect or abuse or something. It sounds like she didn't need to be having more kids if she couldn't care for one before.
This is similar to this situation http://hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=217414 where a womyn was raped, and when she went to report the rape, was jailed for owing someone some money, and refused PRESCRIBED medication given at the hospital. Yeah, it's all "equal" now for us, ain't it? Little One, not everyone who was simply reported to CPS is actually a bad parent. You are glad this womyn lost her baby and that she "deserved" it? That's just sad. They may be "suppsed to" but often they don't. Guess what profession has the very highest rate of Domestic Abuse? Male Cops. If they don't even respect their own wives, girlfreinds and their own children, we can't expect them to respect the other womyn they arrest. I have cops in my family, in their opinion, the arrest is tatamount to being guilty. Sick.
