Thank you guys! whoadang - I started them on New Yr's eve. I had my cousins wedding and I lightly backcombed and pin curled my hair. The next day I just left it like that... the back mostly came out & since then I haven't done anything with it. Surprisingly it is already knotting up and has distinct seperation. I wash with a mix of Dr. Bronners tea tree & peppermint shampoo every 3 days. The day after I wash I seperate and palm roll with lily of the desert aloe vera gel. Almost every day I spritz a mixture of tea tree oil, liquid vitamin E, sea salt, lemon juice & water on my scalp and dreads. I'm just amazed at how well my hair took to dreads. I still have intense itchies but are mostly calmed down with the spritz and aloe & at their worst after I shower. I love my locks & can't imagine life without them.

It does, I have to smoosh it all in there. LOL ...........but if you could do that for me, that would be so wonderful of you. I'll take some pics of my head with the headband on and post them. I get compliments on it whenever I wear it.
