I always enjoy lookin at everyone's locks on here so I figured I'd post a few photos of my own. They are about 22 months old give or take a month or two. Enjoy!
Lookin very nice, brother! (And great place, btw, and I see you're a fan of Guinness too!) Lovely organic look about them.
Thanks hummblebee... The funny thing is that I backcombed them but then after a month or two let them run wild. I now allow my hair to do whatever it wants, if 2 want to grow together they do. (i have one mutant lock that used to be three) If the tips dont want to knot then whatever. If i have loose hair all over the place thats fine... it will eventually find a home. and yes Guinness is divine!
I looooove your locks. for real boy. my dreads are just like yers... i had these two MONSTER dreads, and I cut one, and left the other, and the one i split split up to about four dreads, crazy! i didnt really backcomb mine, i just kinda didnt brush my hair and ripped where needed. and i rolled some. people think rolling doesn't work, but it sure does work for me!
and yer pup is fuckin adorable! and i like yer wood burning stove, thats cool, i have one of those in my place. where do you live? (not to be nosy!)
i live in a small town about an hour south of buffalo on the beautiful Lake Chautauqua. The only thing that sucks about this area is that in the summer its a tourist attraction and all the rich pricks from cleveland take over the area for a few months. I live in my parents house which is sweet bc i dont have to pay for food and housing and i can save a ton of money up for after college when i travel. I totally love the area but I think im going to do some travellin to see what this world has to offer.
Chautauqua... there's a road in my town, southern illinois, called Chautauqua. i guess thats where they got it. mine town is pretty cool, its a college town "southern illinois university" pretty diverse, lotsa stinkin hippies, hahahaha.... if ya ever need a place to stay here in yer travels, look me up! If you wanna see my little beauties, i've got a couple of threads up on the top page "Medusa: It's what people call me" and "part two". tell me what ya think!
yep chautuaqua means "Bag tied in middle" in Iroquois or somethin. My lake looks like kinda like a bag tied in the middle i suppose. Anyways thanks for the kind words everyone and have an excellent night/weekend. I know I'm going to have a greeeeaaaat one! Im goin to see my favorite band(Big Leg Emma) open for Rusted Root tomorrow! Ill be shakin' my booty, movin' those crazy legs, and tossin my locks!
